Paris Hilton's British Best Friend launched with 428,000 viewers on ITV2 last night, according to unofficial figures.

The first episode in the eight-part series, in which the Hollywood socialite searches for a British best friend to party with when she is in the UK from a group of twelve hopefuls, captured a 1.7% share of the audience at 9pm-10pm.
