Paris Hilton’s mom, Kathy, is returning to acting. Kathy is set to appear in an upcoming episode of the soap opera “The Young and the Restless” as herself.

The maternal Hilton’s character on the CBS drama will find a magazine cover model for Peter Bergman’s character Jack Abbott. However, his wife Phyllis (played by Michelle Stafford) didn’t take it lightly when Jack permits Hilton to take over the photo shoot.

Hilton taped the episode on Wednesday. Its screening date schedule is yet to be announced. Paris and Nicky’s mom isn’t new to acting. She had a small part in the sci-fi horror, “The Dark,” in 1979. Her TV credits include guest appearances in “Bewitched,” “Family Affair,” and “Happy Days.”

More than 85,000 people have applied to become Paris Hilton's new "best friend forever" in a reality TV search.

The socialite said she was looking for "someone who cares about me" and who is "not going to screw me over".

Would-be companions must post videos on the website for the MTV show Paris Hilton's My New BFF, with 20 finalists to be chosen by an online vote.

They will then move into a house with Hilton, learning "normal girl stuff" like fashion and shopping.

Everyone loves to hate on Paris Hilton but one person that is siding with her is "Heroes" hottie Hayden Panettiere. She think that Paris is a "genius" and she is not a dumb blonde that everyone thinks she is.

She says, "She's a nice girl and a lot brighter than people give her credit (for) but no one sees her like that because she plays this character all the time. She's actually a marketing genius."

One thing's for sure is that Paris is a marketing genius. She has definitely made herself into a worldwide brand just by acting like the way she does. 

Paris Hilton was paid $140,000 to party at a London nightclub for less than two hours.

The hotel heiress arrived at Mahiki, in Mayfair, with her Good Charlotte rocker boyfriend Benji Madden at 1.20 a.m. on Tuesday, April 15.

Paris - who promised 'Mahiki Madness' on the invitations to her special evening - performed a steamy dance for Benji before the pair left at around 3 a.m.

A source said: "Paris and Benji were all over each other and, at one point, she gave him an impromptu lap dance. Everyone was staring, which only seemed to spur Paris on."

The club paid tribute to Paris by making her a special version of their $200 Treasure Chest cocktail, a potent mixture of champagne and spirits. The drink - which was kept on ice until she arrived - was decorated with flowers and had her name stamped on the side.

Before she left, Paris took to the dance floor and gyrated to her single 'Stars Are Blind'.

Paris Hilton's parents have spoken about her new boyfriend Benji Madden, saying that they "love him like family already".

The star's mother Kathy Hilton reportedly told Vegas Luxe Blog: "It's a great love match, and I have a funny feeling it's going to go all the way, and we've already given it our approval."

"Their life has never been better. We agree with Paris that he is an amazing guy... He's changed her life, and I really think she's genuinely in love for the first time."

Paris Hilton's father Rick said: "He's the perfect example of 'don't judge a book by its cover.' He's polite, well mannered - even calls me sir. We love him like family already."

Socialite Paris Hilton has apologised to American stylist Kim Kardashian after insulting her on a radio show.

Intouchweekly.hollywood.com reports while speaking on a radio show, Hilton had said, "I would not want (Kim's butt) - it's gross. It reminds me of cottage cheese inside a big trash bag."

Hilton said this on a Las Vegas radio-show April 14. However, when a part of the show was posted online, Hilton was remorseful and realised she was wrong.

She now says: "I felt really bad afterward, so I contacted Kim and apologised. It was a silly thing to say. I was just joking around and I made a stupid joke. Kim's hot!'

Kim acknowledged the apology and responded: "Paris and I have been friends since we were kids and I'm glad she made the effort to say she's sorry."

Paris Hilton is building a private nightclub in the basement of her new Hollywood Hills home.

The socialite is currently renovating the sprawling five-bedroom mansion she recently purchased for $6m (€12.6m), and the revamp includes her very own disco.

The club will have its own entrance and will hold 200 people, according to US magazine In Touch.

A pal tells the publication Hilton wants her club to "look like a Parisian speakeasy, with lots of gold fixtures and black furniture."

Hilton is also planning to turn another space in the mansion into a recording studio, where she'll record her second album.
