Paris was reportedly stunned to discover her hotel room had been bugged.

The socialite is in Dubai filming for her new series of 'Paris Hilton's My New BFF' and according to a UK newspaper report, spying equipment was found by her bodyguards during a room inspection.

A source tells the Daily Express: "It was some sort of transmitter by all accounts. We are not sure what the device picked up or whom it was transmitting to. But it did leave Paris very jittery."

"Paris's security has been increased and hotel staff are investigating how the device came to be in her room."

The US model, singer, and actress Paris Hilton has opened her home in Hollywood to the media showing nude photos of herself among other things.

Hilton moved to her present home 18 months ago, and turned it into a "dream house", BGNES news agency writes reporting that the socialite also showed her huge collection of dolls as well as the gym that she turned into an enormous shoe closet.

Hilton invited Access Hollywood cameras to film her home before she left for the filming of a reality show in Dubai.

The rich heiress showed poster-sized naked photos of herself, hugging a toy cat and sitting in a Hummer (vehicle) with her pet Chihuahua Tinkerbell poking out between her legs, as well as Marilyn Monroe portraits hanging over her bed.

Presenter Fearne Cotton is to shadow four famous women, including Scarlett Johansson and Paris Hilton, for a new ITV2 series in which she will attempt to find out what makes them tick.

The four part series, Fearne and..., which will also feature Alesha Dixon and Peaches Geldof, will see Cotton follow the stars at work and play through their daily lives as well as meeting their friends and families.

"I came up with the idea for this show because of my love of autobiographies," Cotton said. "The whole lifestyle behind the public image is fascinating. I love piecing together the jigsaw puzzle of what lies beneath the surface. The series will be a real chance to peel back the layers of certain celebrities' lives."

The ITV director of digital channels and acquisitions, Zai Bennett, who ordered the show along with commissioning editor for factual Diana Howie, added: "Fearne and ITV2 are good friends so we're delighted she will be able to find out what really makes some of the most talked about women in the world tick."

The series, which is being made by ITV Studios, is executive-produced by Jonathan Levi and directed by Iain Thompson.
